Guernsey County Sheriff to lead Buckeye State Sheriff's Association in 2014


CAMBRIDGE, Ohio -- Guernsey County Sheriff Mike McCauley has been sworn-in as the President of the Buckeye State Sheriff's Association for 2014.  
He is the first Sheriff from Guernsey County to be elected as President.  McCauley, who is a 4-term sheriff, was elected by his peers, the Sheriffs of all 88 Ohio Counties.  The BSSA, which has been in existence for over 80 years, oversees all legalities and details in regard to the office of Sheriff in the State of Ohio.  The office of Sheriff is the oldest office for law enforcement officials in the State.
