A number of school board, council races and levies appearing on local ballots

CAMBRIDGE, Ohio -- We are now less than 24 hours away from the November 5 general election.
The Ohio Secretary of State's office says there will be more than 1,600 local issues on ballots around Ohio, including 195 school issues.
In Guernsey and Noble Counties, there will be a number of township and school board races to be decided, as well as council races in Cambridge, Byesville, Caldwell and many other villages. Caldwell voters will be choosing a mayor and a number of school levy issues will appear on both the Noble and Guernsey County ballots.
Polls open statewide at 6:30 a.m. and close at 7:30 p.m. Voters must present some form of I.D. at the polls.
Absentee voting has ended for the general election season, so all voting must now be done in person on Tuesday.
After the polls close, AVC News will be here Tuesday evening, to bring you up to the minute election results.
