Suspect charged as deputies discover stolen auto parts

CAMBRIDGE, Ohio -- A tip regarding suspicious activity at a Pioneer Road residence helped Guernsey County Sheriff's Deputies uncover an alleged "chop shop" operation late last week.
Authorities executed a search warrant at the home and reportedly discovered 39-year-old Brian Rossiter in possession of a large amount of stolen property and criminal tools.  Rossiter was arrested and has been charged with felony counts of tampering with evidence and receiving stolen property in Cambridge Municipal Court.  The building Rossiter was allegedly working out of was found to be loaded with numerous auto parts, cut and disassembled for sale.  Further charges against Rossiter will be submitted to the Grand Jury of the Guernsey County Common Pleas Court for possible indictment.  Detectives are asking for anyone with more information on Rossiter's activities to call them at 740.439-4455.  The suspect is currently in custody in the Guernsey County Jail in lieu of $101,000 bond with no 10% allowed.
