LBJ Unsure of Olympic Participation

CLEVELAND (AP) - LeBron James says he has not yet decided whether he will play in the 2016 Olympics. James says he's "nowhere near" deciding if he will again play for Team USA in two years. He made the comments yesterday following the Cleveland Cavaliers' practice. James did not play for Team USA this summer.

Still Seeing Support

CINCINNATI (AP) - Packages piled up in Devon Still's locker yesterday, gifts from people supporting the Cincinnati Bengals defensive lineman as he cares for his 4-year-old daughter fighting cancer. Still spent his bye week encouraging Leah through surgery to remove a cancerous tumor from her abdomen. She has more chemotherapy ahead to deal with cancer in her bone marrow.

World Series Champ Dies

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (AP) - A member of the 1955 World Series champion Brooklyn Dodgers has died. George "Shotgun" Shuba was 89. He was best known for offering a congratulatory handshake to minor league teammate Jackie Robinson. The Los Angeles Dodgers say Shuba died yesterday at his home in Youngstown, Ohio. No cause of death was given.

CBJ Roster Moves

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) - The Columbus Blue Jackets have assigned four players to the Springfield Falcons, the club's American Hockey League affiliate. The moves bring the Jackets roster to 32 players. Forwards Josh Anderson, Sean Collins and Ryan Craig were moved to Springfield, along with defenseman Jaime Sifers.
