    The 23rd Annual Christmas Gathering will take place on December 25th at the First Presbyterian Church, 532 North St., Caldwell, OH. You may request delivery (in the Caldwell area), pick-up your meals or dine in at the church.  Pick-up time will be 11:30 A.M.  Meals will be delivered by 12:00 Noon and those wishing to dine in at the church should be at the church by 11:45.   Reservations are requested and if you need transportation, please advise us at the time you make your reservations.  This is free and open to everyone, especially any who would be spending Christmas alone in their homes, apart from friends and family.     50th Annual Christmas Eve Luminaria has been rescheduled for Dec. 25.  About 100 households will take part with approx. 1,200 candles in one gallon plastic mile or water jugs lining the  edge of roadways.     The Guernsey Gospel Jubilee Association  New Year's Eve Gospel Sing  will be at a new location this year.  The event will take place on Wednesday, Dec. 31 starting at 7 pm at the First Baptist Church in Cambridge, Oh. In years past it had been held at the Pritchard Laughlin Civic Center.    Admission to the non-denominational event is free and open to the public.  Several artists are scheduled to perform.  Coffee and cold driinks will be offered.  There will also be a free will offering.  For more info, call 740-732-5291

    Every first and third Thursday of the month, there is a Mid-Ohio Food Bank Distribution at the Union Local School.    Food distribution is first come first serve to those in need.  Registration is required and registration begins at 9:30 am on Food truck arrival at 9:30 a.m.  Food distribution begins at approximately 10 a.m. until at least 11:30 a.m.   Please bring your own bags. We should be distributing in the football field parking lot area.  Please park on road closest to fence or down toward the west end of parking lot leaving room for the truck to enter and exit and people to safely walk in the distribution area.   A completed “proxy” of authorization, is needed if picking up food for another family, can be picked up at registration table.  For more information, please contact the Union Local Administrative office at 740-782-1198 or 740-310-4991
