Cavs Slay Warriors

 
   CLEVELAND (AP) - LeBron James scored a season-high 42 points and the Cleveland Cavaliers beat the Golden State Warriors 110-99 on Thursday night for their 18th victory in 20 games.
 
   James added 11 rebounds, outplaying fellow MVP candidate Stephen Curry and leading Cleveland past the team with the NBA's best record for its 11th straight home victory.
 
   Curry scored 18 points, but had only six after the first quarter and was 5 of 17 from the field. David Lee led Golden State (44-11) with 19 points.
 
   Cavaliers guard Kyrie Irving, who scored 24 points, left the game in the third quarter with an injury to his left shoulder, but returned early in the fourth.
 
   Kevin Love added 16 points for the Cavaliers.

Buckeyes Shuck Huskers

 COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) - Jae'Sean Tate scored a career-high 22 points, Sam Thompson added 15 and Shannon Scott 13 to lead Ohio State past Nebraska 81-57 on Thursday night, the Cornhuskers' sixth loss in a row.
 
   D'Angelo Russell had 11 points and six assists before leaving with leg cramps for the Buckeyes (20-8, 9-6 Big Ten), who had lost their last two.
 
   Tarin Smith had 13 points, Terran Petteway 12 and David Rivers 10 for Nebraska (13-15, 5-11), which fell to 0-8 in conference road games. The Cornhuskers haven't won since beating Northwestern 76-60 on Feb. 3.
 
   Tate, who also had seven rebounds, ended up 8 of 9 from the field, missing one of his two 3-point attempts. The freshman's previous career high was 20 against Rutgers.
 
   Scott also had six assists.

Habs Cut Jackets

   COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) - Carey Price made 25 saves to extend his franchise-best road winning streak to 10 games, P.K Subban had a goal and two assists, and the Montreal Canadiens beat the Columbus Blue Jackets 5-2 on Thursday night.
 
   Rookie Jacob De La Rose scored twice, Andrei Markov had a goal and an assist, and Max Pacioretty also scored to help Montreal get its seventh win in 10 games and 11th in the last 13 on the road.
 
   Brandon Dubinksy and Marko Dano scored for Columbus, and David Savard had two assists. Curtis McElhinney finished with 22 saves as the Blue Jackets lost their fourth straight.
 
   Columbus, which leads the league in man games lost to injuries, lost Dubinsky right after his goal and he did not return.
