Featuring co-hosts Mike Greenberg and former NFL player Mike Golic, a regular on ESPN2's NFL Live, Mike & Mike is ESPN's sports talk morning show. The show combines a mix of live guest interviews, analysis, breaking sports news coverage and opinion, all presented in a thoroughly entertaining format. Mike & Mike airs on more than 370 stations around the country and can also be found on both Sirius XM Satellite Radio. All four hours of the show are simulcast on ESPN2 reaching 93 million homes, and the "Best of Mike & Mike" airs weekday afternoons on ESPN.

About The Hosts

greenbergx-largeMike Greenberg, who joined ESPN in September 1996 as an anchor for ESPNEWS which launched in November of that year, is heard on ESPN Radio each weekday morning and usually seen on ESPN each weekday evening on SportsCenter. Greenberg was named co-host of Mike & Mike, ESPN Radio's daily drivetime show (M-F 6-10 a.m. ET) with Mike Golic on December 30, 1999.

In January 2005, Mike & Mike, which had been simulcast on ESPNEWS (45 million homes) since April 2004, moved its simulcast to ESPN2 (89 million homes). The co-hosts have also appeared together in other media outlets: a primetime special (ESPN's Mike & Mike at Night); a prime time drama (TILT); a primetime series (League Night); currently on-line as star characters in ESPN.com's "Off Mikes" cartoon.

Greenberg and his ESPN Radio co-host, with a special guest appearance by Michael Vick, were featured in the Radio network's second on-air television promo. In December 2005, the Mikes were featured in ESPN Radio's first national, broadcast promos.

Greenberg is also frequently an anchor for the 6 p.m. SportsCenter, ESPN's flagship news and information program.

Prior to joining ESPN Greenberg had worked as a sports anchor/reporter for the regional cable news network CLTV in Chicago, Ill., since April 1995. While there, he covered all local sports teams for the 24-hour cable news network, anchored sportscasts and hosted SportsPage, a one-hour Sunday night program featuring live guests and viewer calls.

In addition, Greenberg had worked for Chicago's WSCR-Radio (1992-96) serving as a reporter (covering events including the World Series, Super Bowl, etc.) and talk show host.

From 1994-95, Greenberg worked as a reporter for SportsChannel Chicago. He also worked as a syndicated sports columnist for the California-based Copley News Service, writing a weekly column (1993-95). Previously Greenberg worked for Chicago's WMAQ-Radio as sports anchor/reporter from 1989-92.

Born August 6, 1967, Greenberg is a 1989 graduate of Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism. The New York City native is married and has two children.

 

mike golic--300x300Mike Golic is co-host of ESPN Radio's Mike & Mike(6-10 a.m. ET), which premiered October 12, 1998 and is carried by more than 310 affiliates nationwide. He also serves as an analyst for ESPN and ESPN2's NFL studio programming, as well as for the networks' college football game coverage.

Joining ESPN in 1995 as an NFL reporter/analyst for Sunday NFL Countdown, Golic has since then worked as the color commentator for the Arena Football League (1996-98) and the NFL's Jacksonville Jaguars pre-season games (1995-98). In 1998, Golic began serving as college football analyst for ESPN and ABC, and was an original analyst for NFL 2Night, the five-night-per-week news and information program on ESPN2. That program ran through the 2002 season. Beginning in 2003, he held a similar position on ESPN2's NFL Live.

Golic is a nine-year NFL veteran, playing defensive tackle for the Houston Oilers, Philadelphia Eagles and Miami Dolphins. During his seven years in Philadelphia, he began his television career with a weekly segment on the Randle Cunningham Show. He received a Mid-Atlantic Region Emmy Award for his feature "Golic's Got It."

Golic, born Dec. 12, 1962, is a 1985 graduate of the University of Notre Dame where he served as captain of the football team during his senior season. He also wrestled for the Irish.
