Committee searching for the next university president meets again.

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) - The committee searching for Ohio State University's next president has met again as the search nears its end.
The panel of university trustees that has been considering possible candidates had a closed meeting Friday in Columbus. It had finished a detailed job description last month. Ohio State is seeking a replacement for former president Gordon Gee, who retired in July. A decision on his successor is expected early next year. The search is on track to cost more than $300,000. About a third of that is expenses for a one-day forum on the state of the college presidency. Ohio State is paying a Dallas-based head-hunting firm more than $200,000 for help with the search.
