Boil alert issued in Byesville, Mt. Ephraim areas

Guernsey County Water Dept. lifts Derwent area boil order

CAMBRIDGE, Ohio -- The Clearwater Corporation on Tuesday morning issued a boil order for all customers in the Mt. Ephraim area.

A boil order has also been issued for Byesville Water customers on Watson Avenue as well as for those served on South Fourth Street between Watson and Spruce Avenues.

Both boil orders will remain in effect until further notice.

Meanwhile, the Guernsey County Water Department has lifted the boil order which was in effect for customers in Derwent and on State Route 313. Samples tested negative for contamination.
