CAMBRIDGE, Ohio -- The Guernsey County Public Library has started some scheduled renovations at the Main Branch of the Library, located on Steubenville Avenue.
The project is designed to increase technology services, upgrade the service desk area and complete some basic building repairs. The Main Branch closed on Monday for the remaining construction and is scheduled to reopen sometime in early August. Contractors will install improved lighting, carpeting, restroom areas, paint and a new circulation desk area. The Library will also increase the number of patron computer terminals during the shut-down.
Both the Crossroads Branch and the Byesville Branch of the Library will remain open to provide assistance and maintain patron services. Additional questions can be answered by contacting the Library's Administrative Offices at 740.432.7536.
