A train derailment blocked a local roadway on Friday. The accident on the Ohio Central Railroad occurred just before 10:30 a.m. as the engineer was backing into a siding located just off of Phillips Road, near Glenn Highway, west of Cambridge. Three or four cars, weighing 70,000 to 90,000 pounds each, rolled off the tracks while the train was easing back into the Go-Frac siding at a low speed. No one was injured as the cars simply rolled off the rails and onto the ballast of the siding. Phillips Road was re-opened to traffic on Friday afternoon.
