FAIRVIEW, Ohio -- Six people were injured in a one-vehicle rollover crash in eastern Guernsey County early Sunday morning.
The St. Clairsville Post of the State Highway Patrol reports that a driver was headed westbound on Interstate 70 when, around 6:00am, she lost control of her car near the Fairview exit (milepost 199). Troopers say the driver crossed the median and overturned in the eastbound lanes of I-70.
State troopers and first responders from Guernsey County responded to the scene shortly thereafter. No one suffered life-threatening injuries, but all six were transported to Wheeling Medical Park to be examined.
Troopers said that excessive speed is believed to be a factor in the crash. An investigation is ongoing.
