CAMBRIDGE, Ohio -- Students at Cambridge High School will be honoring a fallen classmate. The Class of 2014 is requesting that everyone attending the October 4th Cambridge-Marietta homecoming football game wear purple in rememberance of the late Ashlie Michelle Lingafelter. Ashlie was a member of the class of 2014, but passed away this winter due to cystic fibrosis. She battled the disease courageously for many years and her classmates see her as an inspiration. This is an opportunity for Ashlie's classmates and others to show that she will not be forgotten. Purple is the designated color for cystic fibrosis awareness.
