Man allegedly threatens bar staff, patrons and companion
CAMBRIDGE, Ohio -- A Cambridge man is facing charges following an incident at a downtown business on Friday.
The Cambridge Police were dispatched to the Downtown Arena in reference to a man who was reportedly threatening bar staff and patrons.  Upon arrival police stopped a man who was exiting the bar for questioning.  Bar staff stated the man, who appeared to be highly intoxicated, had been involved with an altercation with another patron.
The man agreed to leave the bar and proceeded to the vehicle of another man who was going to drive him home.
The suspect,  40-year-old Clarence Hickenbottom Jr., then told the woman he was with to get in the car.  The woman approached officers and said she did not feel safe leaving with Hickenbottom.  The suspect then allegedly rolled down the window of the car and threatened the woman.
Police then stopped the vehicle and took Hickenbottom to the jail and charged him with menacing and disorderly conduct.
He is scheduled to appear in Cambridge Municipal Court on July 7th at 8:30 a.m. to answer to the charges.
