Died Thursday, June 13, 2013 in Community Hospice House, New Philadelphia surrounded by family. He was born May 25, 1929,
at Freeport, Ohio, the son of the late George & Lily Smith Harding
He was preceded in death by his parents; his 3 brothers, & 2 sisters.
Bob was a truck driver, a corporal of the Korean War, & a graduate of Freeport High School class of 1947. He was a life member of the VFW.
He enjoyed NASCAR, and enjoyed walking five miles a day.
He is survived by his wife, Louise Ferguson Harding. They were married Sept. 8, 1951. 2 Daughters: Diane ‘Bill’ Palmer of Tippecanoe, Vicky ‘Richard’ Archer of Mineral City, and son, Ken Harding of New Philadelphia.
7 Grandchildren and 11 Great Grandchildren
Friends may call at the Bond Funeral Home, Londonderry, Saturday 4:00 to 8:00 pm
Funeral Services will be at the funeral home Sunday at 1:00 pm with Pastor Roger Bourne officiating. Burial will follow at Greenmont Union Cemetery, Freeport. Donations may be given to the Community Hospice House at 716 Commercial Ave. SW, New Philadelphia, Oh 44663.
