Glenna O. (Spurrier) Tonnous age 90 of Cambridge passed away peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday (Feb. 11, 2014).

She was born July 29, 1923 in Opperman and was the daughter of the late Harold and Josephine (Stevic) Spurrier.

Glenna was a Beautician and worked with her daughter Cecelia "Sis" Roby at the Beautette Salon, in Byesville. She was also a welder in Akron during WWII. She was a member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Belle Valley where she enjoyed the Catholic Women's Club, a 1941 graduate of Pleasant City High School and a graduate of Cambridge Beauty School, and also a member of T.O.P. S in Caldwell. She enjoyed crocheting and making nut rolls with the Women's Club at church. Glenna and her husband Moses also owned and operated the Ashton Inn near Caldwell.

In addition to her parents Mrs. Tonnous was preceded in death by her husband Moses S. Tonnous whom she married February 22, 1946 and passed away in 1974; one daughter Sonnie K, (Tonnous) Budai; two brothers, Sylvanus Spurrier and Harold Spurrier; two sisters, Lena Mae Tilton and Minnie Lonca; one granddaughter Yvonne Tonnous; one great grandson Adam Deegan.

She is survived by three sons, Richard (Teri) Tonnous of Homeworth, Thomas (Cheryl) Tonnous of Caldwell and Paul (Tina) Tonnous of Byesville; nine daughters, Donna Gordon of North Canton, Cecelia "Sis" (Don) Roby of Byesville, Cynthia McAuley of Cambridge, Maureen (Mike) Cowgill of Cumberland, Frances Tonnous of Cambridge, Gail Tonnous of Pleasant City, Veronica (Bill) McConkey of Cambridge, Ruth (Ronnie) Smith of Caldwell and Carol (Joe) Arp of Pima, AZ; twenty three grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren; numerous step grandchildren and step great grandchildren; her loving cats, Angel Baby and Silver Belle.

Calling hours will be 4-8 p.m. Thursday Feb.13th with a prayer service scheduled for 7:30 at Black-Epperson Funeral Home, Byesville. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday Feb. 14th at Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Belle Valley with Fr. Wayne Morris officiating. Burial will take place at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, near Fulda.
4-8 p.m. Thursday at Black-Epperson Funeral Home, Byesville
