Obituaries: Geneva Smith Glover

|Hickory, North Carolina formerly of Barnesville and Quaker City, Ohio|
|Geneva Smith Glover, 93, formerly of Barnesville and Quaker City, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at Trinity Village, Hickory, North Carolina. She was born March 29, 1920, in Quaker City, Ohio, a daughter of the late Herman D. and Mabel Day Smith.
She was employed by Broughton Dairy Co. for more than 25 years. She was a devoted member of First United Methodist Church in Barnesville, Ohio, where she served in many capacities over the years including the Communion Committee.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ted Glover; a sister, Lucille Smith Shipe; and a brother, Cecil Smith.
Mrs. Glover is survived by her niece Sheila Shipe Lucas and husband Floyd of Hickory, North Carolina.
A private service will be held in Hickory, with burial at Ebenezer Cemetery in Bethesda, Ohio.
A special thank you to the staff at Trinity Village Hickory, who provided such loving care to Geneva during her time in residence.
