Judy was a loving and caring woman who devoted her life to her family. There was nothing that brought her more joy than spending every moment she could with her grandchildren. She was an avid reader, loved sewing quilts, and was an amazing cook. One bite of any of her pies or her homemade noodles and you knew that was true. Judy was a master canner; canning all sorts of items including beans and tomatoes. She was also famous for her plumb jam. She also loved to garden and grow flowers. Judy worked as both a beautician and a substitute teacher. She taught at the Beauty College in Cambridge, and then purchased and operated An-ge’s Beauty Salon. She also worked at the Mideast Buffalo Center doing office, classroom, and teaching chores.
Judy is preceded in death by her parents, and her brothers, Gerald West, Richard West, and James West. She is survived by her devoted husband of 43 years, Dal Wycoff, and their children. She will be forever remembered by her son, Gregory Wycoff, and his wife Missi Wickham, and her daughter, Kimberly Wilson, and her husband, Mike. Judy leaves four grandchildren including, Mya and Caden Wilson, and Maddison and Gracie Wycoff; a sister, Lucille McKendry, and her husband, John, a brother, Bill West, and his wife, Bobbi, and a sister-in-law, Sarah West as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, former coworkers, and friends.
Calling hours for Judy will be held at the Farus Funeral Home of New Concord, formerly the Mock Miller Funeral Home, on Sunday, June 22nd from 2 to 4PM and 6 to 8PM.
Friends and family may again gather on Monday morning June 23rd at 10AM, with services beginning at 11AM. Burial will take place in Norwich. Pastors Chris Riggs and Keith Taylor will be officiating services.
