QUAKER CITY, Ohio -- The Guernsey County Sheriff's Office has launched an investigation into the death of a Quaker City man after preliminary autopsy results determined he died from blunt force trauma to the head.
Fifty-year-old Kevin S. Wehr was found dead at his Fair Street home on Sunday afternoon. Sheriff Mike McCauley said Wehr is believed to have died as the result of injuries sustained at his home. Wehr's death was reported to the Sheriff's Office at 1:15 p.m. Sunday. The investigation was initiated on Monday afternoon after preliminary autopsy results were released to officials by Guernsey County Coroner Dr. Sandra Schubert.
Sheriff's detectives reportedly took an unidentified male and female into custody from an apartment in the village on Monday for questioning. The incident remains under investigation by the sheriff's office.
