Third suspect pleads guilty in murder, burning case

ZANESVILLE, Ohio -- A third suspect charged in connection with the murder and burning of a Zanesville man in July has pleaded guilty.
According to the Muskingum County Prosecutor’s Office, 40-year-old Billy Harris of McConnelsville on Thursday entered "guilty" pleas to two counts of obstructing justice. A third count of tampering with evidence will be dropped at time of sentencing.
Harris is among five arrested in connection with the death of 24-year-old Phillip Kimbro Jr., whose body was found along a rural Morgan County road in July. Two other suspects, Marcia Lee Harris and Samantha Drabik, pleaded guilty to multiple counts regarding the burning of Kimbro's body on Wednesday.
Nineteen-year-old Shaquille Davis, who was arrested by Zanesville Police officers on August 7, has been charged with Kimbro's murder.
