Kent man to face vehicular homicide charges

FREMONT, Ohio (AP) - The Ohio State Highway Patrol has identified the  two victims, who were killed when their van was struck by a speeding car on the Ohio Turnpike.
Wilber and Margaret McCoy, both aged 77, of Toledo, died at the scene after they were trapped in their burning van.  The Patrol says 24 year old Andrew Gans of Kent, was traveling at more than 125 miles per hour at the time of the crash on Thursday night and is now facing two counts of vehicular homicide with a reckless driving specification.  A patrol spokeswoman says two troopers separately spotted the car but were unable to keep up with it before the crash near Fremont in northwest Ohio.  The patrol says Gans is in fair condition at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center suffering from injuries that are not life-threatening.  He remains hospitalized for psychiatric evaluation.  When Gans is released, he will be place in custody in the Lucas County Jail,
