Man Dies in Ohio Plane Crash

Pilot killed  Southern Ohio
   ALBANY, Ohio (AP) - - The Ohio State Highway Patrol has confirmed a pilot has died in a plane crash off of U.S. Route 50 near state Route 32 split Saturday evening.
Troopers responded to an area close to U.S. Route 50 at about 6:35 p.m. Saturday on a report of a plane crash near the Ohio University's Gordon K. Bush airport.
Responders found a small, four-person, single engine aircraft and a single occupant.
Preliminary investigations revealed Charles W. Wagner, 73 of Athens County, crashed the 1972 Bellanca Super Viking he was piloting.
Wagner was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board is still investigating the crash.
