CAMBRIDGE, Ohio -- A Pleasant City man has been sentenced in Guernsey County Common Pleas Court for grand theft following a break-in at a residence in Senecaville in May 2013.
Forty-six-year-old Jackie D. Siddle pleaded guilty to charges and was sentenced to 11 months in prison for grand theft by Judge David A. Ellwood on Monday. That sentence was then suspended and Siddle was ordered to serve six months in the Guernsey County Jail. Upon release from the county jail, Siddle will be placed on three years of community controlled sanctions.
Siddle broke into a home on Lashley Road back in May of 2013 and took three firearms and other items from the residence. Following leads, investigators discovered some of the missing items and arrested Siddle.
He has been returned to the Guernsey County Jail to serve out his sentence.
