ST. CLAIRSVILLE, Ohio -- Authorities in Belmont County are on the look-out for a stolen vehicle that may be holding a mobile meth lab.
The Belmont County Sheriff's Office told media outlets on Wednesday that a woman reported her car missing, and said that she had heard from acquaintances that the person who stole it may have been using it for the manufacture of methamphetamine.
The woman's vehicle, a 2005 silver Mercury Mountaineer, was stolen from the Econo Lodge in St. Clairsville late last week. The vehicle's license plate is Ohio GAA 9943.
Authorities say it is important to track down the vehicle as soon as possible, if it does contain volatile chemicals. The Sheriff's Office is urging those with information to call 740.695.2212.
