BRIDGEPORT, Ohio -- A Belmont County woman is behind bars in connection with a meth lab bust conducted over the weekend.
According to the Bridgeport Police Department, 31-year-old Amber Schafer allegedly manufactured methamphetamine in her Poplar Avenue home in Bridgeport. She was arrested by the police department and Belmont County Task Force on Sunday.
Schafer has been charged with the illegal manufacture of methamphetamine (F2) and the illegal assembly and possession of chemicals (F3).
She remains in custody in the Belmont County Jail under $25,000 bond.
