ZANESVILLE, Ohio -- A Columbus man is now facing a murder charge in connection with a fatal January shooting in Zanesville.
The Muskingum County Prosecutor's Office says that 26-year-old Anthony Wilson was indicted on one count of aggravated murder with a firearm specification and one count of having a weapon while under a disability in connection with the murder of 35-year-old Isaac Thomas. The incident reportedly took place on January 22 at a residence on Spangler Drive.
A Zanesville man was also indicted in connection with the fatal shooting. 34-year-old Chad Morrison of Zanesville is facing one count of complicity to commit aggravated murder with a firearm specification, two counts of obstructing justice and one count of having a weapon while under disability. Morrison is alleged to have assisted Wilson in murdering Thomas and transporting both from the murder scene.
An arraignment is scheduled for the pair on Wednesday in Muskingum County Common Pleas Court.
