ZANESVILLE, Ohio -- A single-vehicle accident on Interstate 70 slowed westbound traffic on Sunday afternoon.
According to the Zanesville Post of the State Highway Patrol, 64-year-old Richard Noll of Zanesville was westbound at around 1:30 p.m. on I-70 when he made an improper lane change and lost control. Troopers say Noll's Mercury Sable struck the outside guardrail before coming to rest just east of the New Concord exit.
Both westbound lanes were closed for approximately 20 minutes as crews moved Noll's vehicle. The left lane was opened up shortly thereafter, easing traffic back-up at the scene.
Neither Noll nor his passenger were injured. Noll was cited for failure to control.
