ZANESVILLE, Ohio -- Two men charged for their alleged involvement in a January murder near Zanesville entered pleas in Muskingum County Common Pleas Court on Wednesday.
Twenty-six-year-old Anthony Wilson of Columbus entered not guilty pleas to charges of aggravated murder with a firearm specification and having a weapon while under disability.
A co-defendant in the crime, 34-year-old Chad Morrison of Zanesville, also pleaded "not guilty" to multiple charges, including complicity to aggravated murder with a firearm specification, having a weapon while under disability and two counts of obstructing justice.
The charges against the pair are connected to the murder of 35-year-old Isaac Thomas on January 22 at a residence on Spangler Drive.
Morrison is alleged to have assisted Wilson in murdering Thomas, then transporting Wilson and the victim from the scene of the crime. Bond for both Wilson and Morrison was continued at $2 million each.
