BELLAIRE, Ohio -- Two men were arrested in Belmont County on Thursday after a tip led officers to the pair "shooting up" in a business parking lot.
The Bellaire Police Department reports that 24-year-old Christopher Pacifico of Bridgeport and 30-year-old Jason Magnani of Flushing were arrested Thursday morning after officers found a small baggie containing heroin in a cigarette pack, along with a syringe and a cloth tourniquet, in one of the suspect's Ford Taurus.
Both suspects have been charged with possession of heroin, possession of drug instruments, and permitting drug abuse. Magnani will also face charges related to a parole violation.
Bond for Pacifico and Magnani was set at $4,500. Both men remain in the Belmont County Jail.
Bellaire Police Chief Mike Kovalyk thanked the good people of Bellaire for calling in the tip that lead to the arrests.
