BELMONT COUNTY, Ohio -- A gas station attendant suspected of robbing the gas station that employed him has been released from jail.
Belmont County Prosecutor Dan Fry said on Tuesday that formal charges have not been filed against suspect David Peach. Fry added that further investigation of Peach and other suspects is needed before his office can move forward.
The Belmont County Sheriff's Office arrested Peach last week in connection with the June 13 robbery of the Clark Gas Station in Lansing. Because Peach called 911 to report the robbery, he was arrested for inducing panic and conspiracy.
