CAMBRIDGE, Ohio -- Traffic was restricted to one lane on I-70 westbound just east of the I-70/77 split following a two-vehicle crash early this afternoon.
According to reports from the State Highway Patrol, 54-year-old Terry Ross of Wintersville was driving recklessly, on the berm and weaving in and out of lanes, on I-70, one-quarter mile east of the I-77 interchange when he struck the rear of a vehicle driven by a Cambridge man around 1 p.m. The car of the Cambridge man was pushed into the left lane and then veered off the right side of the roadway, into an embankment.
Ross was cited by troopers for OVI, reckless operation of a motor vehicle and a seatbelt violation. Both men were taken to Southeastern Med for the treatment of minor injuries.
