BYESVILLE, Ohio -- Bond has been set at $75,000 for a Byesville man charged in connection with a drug raid on Tuesday.
On Thursday, 34-year-old Clarence Lee Williamson II was charged with felony counts of having weapons while under disability and trafficking in drugs in Cambridge Municipal Court. Due to Williamson's extensive criminal history - which includes convictions for assault, theft, and drug-related charges - Judge John Mark Nicholson set bond at $75,000 with no 10 percent allowed.
Williamson was arrested on Tuesday night after the Guernsey County Sheriff's Office Special Response Team executed a search warrant at his Main Street home. The arrest came following multiple controlled buys of what is suspected to be heroin over the past few weeks. Deputies reportedly seized heroin, firearms and cash from the home.
A female found in the home was questioned by deputies and released. Several children in the home were turned over to relatives.
Williamson remains in custody in the Guernsey County Jail.
