The Meadowbrook Colts put the first points on the board, but couldn't come up with any more offense in a 24-7 loss to Claymont on Friday night.
Clay Lapp scored the first touchdown of the game on a 3 yard run for Meadowbrook in the first quarter, which was the Colts only scoring drive of the game. In the third quarter, Cody Johnston intercepted a pass to keep the Colts in the game, but Meadowbrook still couldn't put anymore points on the board. Keeton Herron lead the Mustangs with 151 yards rushing on the night. The Colts's record now sits at 6-2, while Claymont improves to 5-3 overall. Meadowbrook plays next Saturday at Bishop Rosecrans. Claymont heads back to home turf to play Coshocton.
